Producer, Mark Fain, said we needed one more song in “this-here-feel.” I had Jon on the calendar to write with the following week. Perfect! Seems like I had written about every significant person in my life up until that point. Everyone except for my best friend, my sister. I told Jon how she showed up in my mom’s eulogy that I wrote back in 2003. “…Mom’s way and values were reflected in my dear sister’s heart…” Jon said, “I believe ‘Sister’s Heart’ is our song.” Indeed, & my secrets are safely locked in there as well!
